new analysis of the MIRASOL study"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"546\" class=\"elementor elementor-546 elementor-434\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-80906d6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"80906d6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6678a14 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6678a14\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h1 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><strong>Elahere (MIRV) keeps quality of life stable<\/strong><br> - new analysis of the MIRASOL study<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7a1356 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7a1356\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"\" data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"762\">New results of the MIRASOL study were published in April 2025.<\/p><p data-start=\"127\" data-end=\"202\"><span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\">The study results showed that the drug <strong data-start=\"114\" data-end=\"148\">mirvetuximab soravtansine-gynx<\/strong> (trade name <em data-start=\"162\" data-end=\"171\">Elahere<\/em>) prolonged the time to disease progression and overall survival in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer with high levels of the folic acid receptor \u03b1 (FR\u03b1).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-86f459b e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"86f459b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f26f23e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f26f23e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Focus on quality of life<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6ae4a54 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6ae4a54\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"924\"><span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\">The latest data from the study assess quality of life from the patient&#8217;s perspective (patient-reported outcomes).<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"924\"> <span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\"> This showed that <em data-start=\"134\" data-end=\"143\">Elahere<\/em> can neither worsen nor clearly improve quality of life compared to conventional chemotherapy<\/span>. <span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\">There were slight indications of benefits, particularly for abdominal and digestive complaints: 21% of patients taking <em data-start=\"112\" data-end=\"121\">Elahere<\/em> reported noticeable improvements &#8211; compared to 15% taking chemotherapy, although the difference was not entirely statistically certain<\/span>. <span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\">Nevertheless, in a follow-up analysis with other measurements, there were indications of actual improvements in up to 29% vs. 18%<\/span>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bcaf64b e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"bcaf64b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-537ac13 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"537ac13\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What does that mean in concrete terms?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-edd25e2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"edd25e2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"661\"><li data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"535\"><p data-start=\"496\" data-end=\"535\"><span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"45\" data-is-only-node=\"\">No deterioration in quality of life<\/strong>: Women undergoing therapy with <em data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"69\">Elahere<\/em> reported similar living conditions to those with standard therapy.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"579\"><p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"579\"><span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"27\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Symptoms remain stable<\/strong>: important everyday symptoms such as pain or appetite did not deteriorate.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"661\"><p data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"661\"><span class=\"relative -mx-px my-[-0.2rem] rounded px-px py-[0.2rem] transition-colors duration-100 ease-in-out\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"46\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Combination of efficacy and stability<\/strong>: Since <em data-start=\"51\" data-end=\"60\">Elahere<\/em> has also been shown to prolong survival, it now offers a promising treatment option &#8211;
